Durable benchtop muffle furnace offers 864 cubic inches of heating area and an optional stainless steel shelf that doubles load capacity (Maximum temperature 900°C). Furnace has heating elements located on top, bottom and sides for rapid heating and temperature uniformity. A built-in venting system removes contaminants and moisture and extends the life of the element and the unit. The unit offers a variety of safety features. Door safety switch cuts power to heating elements when door is opened. Thermocouple break protection prevents thermal runaway condition by cutting power to heating elements. Furnace has a digital setpoint control with a single ramp to setpoint and a dwell. A single display shows actual temperature or setpoint. It also utilizes a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
