For most types of faucets. Aerated outlet heads are mounted 2.5” apart and angle forward. Aerated heads deliver a soft flow of water for gentle rinsing action. The angle of the heads is adjustable to permit ease of access and avoid splashing on the counter floor.
Model 8244N02
For laboratory gooseneck-type faucets. Aerated outlet heads are mounted on arms 5” apart and angle inward. Outlet heads deliver a soft flow of aerated water. The angle of the heads is adjustable to provide ease of access and avoid splashing water on the counter or floor.
Outlet heads are made of chrome plated brass and angle toward user. Furnished with protective float-off dust covers. Chrome-plated forged brass diverter valve enables the water pressure to hold eye wash in operation with the pull of a knob, leaving user’s hands free. Inlet: Valve body has 55/64”-27 female thread. Units are furnished with 3 adapters for attaching to most common faucets (15/16”-27, 13/16”-27, 3/8” IPS). Outlet: Furnished with removable aerator on bottom outlet. Each unit is completely assembled and water tested prior to shipment.
Important: Faucet-mounted eye washes, while they meet some of the requirements of ANSI Z358.1-1998, are not adequate or acceptable substitutes for dedicated, plumbed-in eye wash equipment.These units are offered solely as supplemental units for secondary protection.
