Analog models feature digital PID controllers for temperature control. Solid state speed control provides accurate regulation of shaker speed from 40-400 rpm. Integrated tachometer monitors and displays speed in rpm to guarantee accurate setting. Solid State Control gives over-temperature protection, while the timer allows for continuous operation or timed shaking for up to 60 minutes. Temperature uniformity is maintained by heated air recirculating throughout the chamber.
Digital models feature an LED display that shows speed, temperature and time on 3 separate displays. The display indicates accumulated time during continuous shaking or time remaining during timed shaking. An audible/visual over-speed alarm alerts the user when the set point speed and temperature have been exceeded and shaking motion or temperature is halted. Each type of alarm has separate flashing displays. Variable speed control over 15 to 500 rpm. The built-in memory maintains set points, and the display flashes to indicate an interruption.
Shaker features a LEXAN bubble window; when the hood is open, the shaker stops automatically. Unit has a 1” orbit. It will accept an18 x 30” platform and accommodate an Erlenmeyer flask up to 6 L. The triple eccentric drive ensures the unit operates smoothly and quietly even at high speed. The platform rotates on nine permanently lubricated sealed ball bearings. Built-in timer allows for continuous operation or timed shaking up to 999 hours. Temperature uniformity is maintained by heated air recirculating throughout chamber. Lifetime warranty on drive mechanism. Takes 30” x 18” universal platform (8291L10) sold separately. See 8291K26 through K40 for flask clamps.
