Bath and calibration temperatures can be entered digitally on keypad. Non-volatile memory protects temperature data from power cut off. Target and actual temperature are constantly displayed on the LCD. Top cover of bath has two holes 51 mm (2") dia. for glass capillary viscometers or other instruments. Additional hole provided for reference thermometer or probe. Four-pane frost free window and fluorescent lamps provide excellent visibility within the bath. Bath holds 2.5 liters of bath medium (not included). Housing is heavy aluminum, coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy. Aluminum bath vessel is included (measures 305 mm H x 121 mm W x 83 mm D). A baffle within bath vessel facilitates circulation of liquid and provides smooth background for viewing instruments. Completely self-contained: no separate refrigeration units or heat exchangers required. Can be connected to computer via RS 232 interface. Quiet operation. Built-in automatic self-test on power up.
