Precision coliform baths are intended specifically for fecal coliform content determination of incubation samples as specified by APHA, AWWA, EPA and WPCF in "Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater" (18th Edition, 1992) using either the membrane filter method or MPN method and for E. Coli at 35.0°C.
Bright, easy-to-read LED digital display provides fast verification of operating temperature. Water flow is gently directed around bath perimeter. The small coliform baths (9833R25, R27) occupy only 2 ft.2 of bench space. Deep-drawn stainless steel bath chamber is seamless. Circulator and temperature sensor probe are easily removed for complete cleaning access. Small bath will hold one test tube rack or one petri dish rack (see Accessories). The large coliform baths (9833R30, R32) will hold any combination of up to three test tube racks or petri dish racks (see Accessories). Stainless steel chamber is equipped with a drain to make cleaning easier.
A stainless steel gable cover is included with each bath, as are a thermometer holder and a cut out in the gable cover. Baths feature a one-year limited warranty on parts and performance. Stainless steel petri dish rack (0793G38) holds eighty 50 mm petri dishes. Stainless steel test tube rack (0793G37) holds 50 test tubes up to 20 mm diameter by 150 mm length.
