Protector XVS Ventilation Station provides user protection by keeping powders and fumes contained during light duty, fume-generating or weighing procedures. Patented features include air foil with Clean-Sweep openings to enhance airflow and zoned-perforated rear baffle that creates horizontal laminar airflow to maximize containment. Exclusive features include deep 23” interior to accommodate large apparatus, upper dilution air supply and upper containment sash foil. Other features include side-entry air foils, low profile design, dry powder, sturdy epoxy-coated aluminum frame and steel rear panel and baffle, 3/16” thick, non-static producing tempered safety glass sides and top for excellent visibility, ambient light and protection, 8" high sash opening (Standard Models) or 10” high sash opening (Extra Height Models), ergonomic 1/4” thick tempered safety glass angled sash that is hinged to pivot up and lock for loading, and two utility ports. Requires exhausting to the outside or to the FilterMate Portable Exhauster from the top or bottom through one of two 2” x 10” rectangular openings. Guardian Jr. Airflow Monitor Kit provides audible and visual alarms that indicate when ventilation station's velocity falls below set point. Kit includes face plate with circuit board, epoxy-coated steel housing, electrical cord with power pack and plug, vinyl tubing, stem tube adapter, and mounting hardware. For field installation; mounts on top of XVS Ventilation Station. Guardian 1000 Digital Airflow Monitor Kit features both audible alarm and LED lights indicate when hood's velocity falls below set point. Digital readout gives actual face velocity at all times. Kit includes face plate with circuit board, electrical power pack, vinyl tubing, stem tube adapter and wiring instructions. For field installation; mounts on top of XVS Ventilation Station. Black chemical-resistant work surface is contoured to fit the dimensions of the enclosure and to contain spills. Exhaust Transition Adapters are epoxy-coated steel, 2” x 10” rectangular to 5” or 6” diameter round for connection to 5” or 6” ID hose. Adapter allows for connection of hose to the top or bottom of the rear plenums, respectively.
