The MIKRO 185, Hettich’s new, high-performance research centrifuge, offers versatile solutions and improved safety features within a compact, elegant frame. To meet the diverse requirements of research laboratories, the MIKRO 185 features rotors that support a variety of tube sizes and capacities. With the MIKRO 185, users have the option of 12-place, 18-place, and 24-place angle rotors that fit both pediatric tubes and standard microliter tubes. Additionally, an 18-place rotor that conveniently supports spin columns is also available. All rotors have the option of bio-containment lids.The MIKRO 185 offers this diversity within a compact footprint. Advanced safety features of the MIKRO 185 include its all-metal containment and the Hettich Safety-Lock™, which ensures a safe, tight closure on the centrifuge chamber during operation.
Additionally, the MIKRO 185 employs the Hettich Easy-Lift™ lid that features stay-in-place positioning and lid-drop protection. The lid further limits repetitive stress injuries, spillage, and accidental sample disruption when loading and unloading your centrifuge.
