The Thomas Analog Orbital Shaker has selectable speed ranges of 25 to 500 rpm. Shaker can be operated in continuous or timed mode from 1 minute to 2 hours via front panel knobs that control speed and time. Reproducible motion is evenly distributed through all samples via a counter-balanced electronic drive traveling over its 19 mm orbit. This shaker can accommodate small and large steel platforms with a weight capacity of 35 lbs. Platforms are easy to attach and stay in place even with vigorous shaking. Shaker is supplied with a non-skid rubber mat that sits on a 27 x 32 cm rotating tray powered by a 40 watt motor. Shaker can hold a 33 x 33 cm or 45 x 45 cm platform as well as handle a double tier configuration. Tray accommodates loads up to 35 lbs. Shakers hardened enamel finish resists most abrasives and corrosives.
