OxiDrop™, Oxidase Test

OxiDrop™, Oxidase Test is a liquid ready-to-use reagent that is used in procedures to detect cytochrome oxidase activity in bacteria.

For testing the oxidase reaction, contains tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine. Simply place one drop on the suspect colony (directly on the plate) and look for the color reaction. Positives turn purple.
