Lab Media Kits & Components
Lab media components include selective and differential media, carefully designed to favor the growth of specific types while inhibiting others. The additives contained in the media are ideal for differentiating between different species or strains.
The Thomas Scientific range includes molecular biology reagents such as yeast extract, ideal for various microorganisms and molecular genetics applications.
Selective and enrichment media is designed to help recover pathogens from a mixture of bacteria. Reagents are tested and chosen for their ability to promote optimum growth of E. coli when combined with LB Medium, Lennox formulations.
Lab media components available provide nutrients through proteins and amino acids. Buffering agents include phosphates and acetates and are ideal for various applications within the lab to help achieve precise results.
